Amputees can feel



A new prosthetic hand that connects to the nervous system gives users a sense of touch, allowing them to feel the texture and shape of different objects. Although more tests need to be conducted to refine the sensory abilities of the prosthetic hand, researchers believe that in five years it could be mass produced. Dennis Aabo Sorensen, who lost his hand in an accident 9 years ago used the bionic hand and reported that he was able to feel textures.
